The new week for Piazza Affari starts well. The Ftse Mib, after a weak start, gradually found strength going to close at 25,441 points (+ 0.63%). Mediobanca stands out among the best of the day (+ 2.42%) with the return to the newspapers of the possible union between Mediobanca and Banca Mediolanum, hypothesized by a recent Citi report. In the meantime, a reshuffle of the board of directors of the merchant bank in Piazzetta Cuccia is being hypothesized in order to make room for representatives of Del Vecchio, who has come to hold almost 20% of the capital.
