Boy found safe after going missing for a night
A child under 12 years old was reported missing last weekend in the United States, but was later found safe and sound by a Target store manager the next day.
The incident took place at a Target store in the East Broad area of Columbus, Ohio, when the child’s parents reported that he had gone missing. Despite police being notified, the child remained inside the store all day and night. Thankfully, an employee found him alone in the store around 6:15 AM the following day.
The child was in good health and was taken to Children’s Services until his family was located. The parents came to pick him up on Monday afternoon. There were no reports of injuries and no charges were filed.
In cases of missing children, it is important to take immediate action and report it to the police. The first 48 hours are crucial for bringing a missing child home. It is also recommended to ask officers to list the child in the FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC), which is a tool for locating missing individuals.
Thankfully, in this case, the child was found safe and reunited with his family.
