Be Water, new members join: here’s who they are

Be Waterproduction and distribution company artistic, cultural and journalistic contents, was born in 2021 with the aim of creating a contemporary and multifaceted story on the great themes and events of our time and on what concerns the future of all of us. Producing content in which art, information and creativity come together in a constant flow of projects such as podcasts, films, documentaries, live shows and journalistic investigations the intention is to solicit new opportunities for reflection on structural issues of our present such as sustainability, inclusion, technology, the constantly evolving geopolitical scenario and the world of finance. TO Guido Brera, Filippo Sugar, Barbara SalabèMario Calabresi, Mattia Guerra and Saverio Costanzo, previously announced Be Water partners, are now joining Stefano Bises, Alessandro Borghi, Claudio Erba, Riccardo Haupt and Cecilia Sala.

Guido Breramajority founding partner of Be Water together with Filippo Sugar, describes the entry of the new members this way: “I am convinced that the paradigmatic change in the perception of true or false, of good and evil, of origin and history, of poverty and wealth , ask new forms of storytelling capable of proposing both a holistic vision of the contents and a contemporary vision of the languages, durability and technology. With Be Water we want to build a modern media company, capable of catalyzing ideas, themes, origins, ed different yet similar experiences.

To do this, in the last two months Be Water has opened its doors to talents eager to invest in a system of ideal, participatory and polyphonic connections, thus giving life to a compact and eclectic shareholder structure unique in our panorama: Barbara Salabè, among the most capable and complete managers in the team building and pioneering projects in the media world; Mario Calabresi, extraordinary journalist, our first travel companion and co-founder of Chora, today CEO of Be Content, the company that brings together the activities Chora e Will (podcasts, digital media and journalism), supported by the COO, Riccardo Haupt, who with Will’s team has built a community of over 2 million young people between the ages of 18 and 35; Mattia Guerra, CEO of our production and distribution company Be Water Film, brilliant film and television producer, former creator of the Lucky Red production line.

“When I think of Be Water – he declares Barbara Salabe, Executive Chairman of Be Water – a pinwheel comes to mind, in which each part spins the other. Perhaps because our team resembles him: feet firmly planted on the ground and thoughts unbridled. We at Be Water want to build together with our listeners, spectators and consumers a community in which they can recognize themselves through three words: audio, video, live. Chora and Will, therefore podcasts, videos and short journalistic formats, create contemporary, relevant and imaginative IPs, with their own production and audience autonomy. They are the source, the forge, the sensor of questions, of aspirations. Be Water Film’s task will also be to transform the stories resulting from the investigations into real fictional products, that is, to develop, produce and distribute films and series in line with our narrative mission, which navigates in the wake of factual reality. The immense pool of stories and characters from Sugar’s musical world will also be a further inspiration for our productions. Following with Be Water Live we will bring the most popular themes and characters to the scene to make them meet their audience. Uniting markets, talents, personalities and audiences in a single driving force, I am sure, will allow Be Water to overcome the obstacles of a market that is today very segmented and fragmented with particular attention to a world of young people, so hungry for answers to their anxieties.
