Nine years ago, trained teacher Roger Koch set up a small cigarette factory on Lake Constance to challenge tobacco giants such as Philip Morris and BAT. A boy’s dream, said Koch. Now, with the bankruptcy of Koch & Gsell, the boy’s dream is over. Skeptics might say that a boy’s dream is not a business plan.
