Brussels locks down on Artificial Intelligence “EU industries to defend themselves from Russia and China”

BRUXELLES — Avoid handing over resources, technologies and knowledge to “enemy” forces. AND become autonomous in the production of Artificial Intelligence. This is the objective of the package of measures presented yesterday by European Commission.

The underlying idea focuses on economic security. Because investments and exports can provide competing and adversary countries with the tools to become more dangerous. The initial idea aimed at a sort of “Golden Rule” capable of blocking suspicious operations.
