For the first time in Europe, BYD presents the BYD Seal U DM-i at the Geneva International Motor Show, which introduces BYD Super Dm (Dual Mode) technology to Europe, representing a revolutionary evolution in Phev (Plug- in) intelligent. The new version of the BYD Tang will be on display, the imposing 7-seater 100% electric AWD SUV, completely renovated. Surprisingly, BYD will also bring two innovative sub-brands to Geneva, Yangwang and Denza.
BYD enriches the range of European products
The Chinese brand has introduced six fully electric models since its debut in Europe:
Act 3 (C-SUV), Han (E-segment sedan), Tang (E-Suv), Dolphin (C-segment subcompact), Seal (D-segment sedan) and Seal U (D-Suv). After the launch of the 100% electric version, Byd Seal U will be presented in Geneva in the new plug-in hybrid variant, the BYD Seal U Dm-i which uses cutting-edge Super Dm (Dual Mode) technology. Byd Seal U Dm-i will be launched in European countries where the electric charging infrastructure is not yet mature or where customers require a vehicle that offers all the benefits of electric driving without sacrificing range. The completely renovated 100% electric Byd Tang SUV will also be presented in Geneva with 7 seats and all-wheel drive which has a range of up to 530 kilometers (combined Wltp. The world of porta and Ginevra to sub-brand
At the 2024 Geneva Motor Show, BYD will also show a European preview of Yangwang technology, BYD’s luxury sub-brand that represents the pinnacle of innovation in new energy vehicle (NEV) technology. Taking center stage will be the Yangwang U8 which is powered by two cutting-edge technologies: the DiSus-P platform and intelligent hydraulic body control system. Alongside Yangwang, Denza will also be present, the joint venture established in 2010 between BYD and Mercedes-Benz, which has emerged as a premium brand dedicated to providing high-end automotive products and exceptional services. After the debut of Denza with the 7-seater D9 minivan (2+2+3) at IAA Mobility 2023, BYD presents the Denza D9 as a European preview in Geneva.
