Agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ice and Confindustria Ceramics to favor the arrival of selected operators from abroad at the next Cersaie, the international ceramics exhibition scheduled in Bologna from 7 September to 1 October. The agreement provides for the funding of a total of 1.2 million euros to support the fair’s promotion and incoming initiatives.
The commitment of ICE – the government agency for the internationalization and promotion abroad of Italian companies – continues, in support of the trade fairs which, ready to reopen on 15 June, will face the unknown factor of presence of foreign visitors, in particular from non-EU countries.

Among these is Cersaie, which represents an important sector of Made in Italy, which exports over 80% of its production and which for this reason traditionally has a large presence of professional visitors arriving from abroad. The event, the organizers explain, has already placed 95% of the overall spaces, to date, 40% of the exhibitors come from abroad, further confirmation of the international dimension of the event and of the opportunities and economic repercussions on the territory.
The largest share of the resources made available by the government will be destined for incoming buyers from Germany, France, the United Kingdom, North America and the Gulf countries. 170 – more than in previous editions – will be the architects, distributors and journalists hosted on the occasion of the 2021 International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings. Among these, Cersaie will also host a group of operators for the first time. selected from Contract and Real Estate, central sectors in the world of construction which, from this edition, will find a dedicated physical space inside the «Contract Hall».
The agreement provides for support for Archincont (r) act, the area that will host ten international architectural firms, but also for the creation of the spaces for “Costruire Abitare Pensare”, the cultural program of Cersaie, and promotional campaigns on the main foreign markets. .
