ROME (ITALPRESS) – Create and develop synergies aimed at increasing the spread of the civil protection culture through training and information initiatives that see their strengths in the active involvement of citizens and in the enhancement of specific skills and professionalism. These are the main objectives of the Convention signed by the Head of the Civil Protection Department, Fabrizio Curcio, and by the President of the National Union of Pro Loco APS, Antonino La Spina. In particular, the agreement, lasting three years, has the purpose of regulating the collaboration between the Department and the network of Pro Loco and associations belonging to the Union, in order to encourage and implement all the useful actions to increase the knowledge of the different types of risks and self-protection behaviors among citizens. “We are pleased and proud to offer the full and effective collaboration of UNPLI and over 6200 Pro Loco to the National Civil Protection Department. We believe that the deep-rooted presence of our associations in the territories can constitute an important resource for the development of agreed activities with the growth of the widespread culture of civil protection at the center.
