A share reorganization is approaching for the Alice Pizza chain. According to what appears to Il Sole 24 Ore, Idea Taste of Italy, an Italian fund specialized in the agri-food sector managed by Dea Capital Alternative Funds Sgr, is in fact negotiating the sale of Me&Alice, the management company of the well-known Alice Pizza brand chain, a company which it closed 2022 with a turnover of just over 100 million euros, distributing over 6.3 million kilograms of pizza.

According to rumors, private equity firm Clessidra is a potential interested party and is working with its consultants on the dossier. Idea Taste of Italy entered the pizzeria chain as a shareholder in 2019, taking over 70% and leaving the remaining 30% to the Giovannini family.

The birth of the chain dates back to the end of the 80s. In fact, the first pizzeria was immediately followed by others in the North and Central-South of Italy. In 2002 the brand was officially registered. In 2017 Alice flew overseas to open the first pizzeria in the United States, in Philadelphia to be precise. In 2019, the Idea Taste of Italy fund entered the shareholder structure, with which the group exceeded 200 stores.
