Accordingly, salaries will increase retroactively to January 1st of the current year by seven percent, but at least by 280 euros. As of March 1, 2025, all employees will receive a basic amount of 150 euros. The increased compensation will then be increased by another two percent. The holiday pay surcharge will also be increased by 150 euros.
In addition, all employees receive an inflation compensation payment of 3,000 euros. It will be paid out in two tranches: 2,000 euros will come immediately and 1,000 euros in November.
āWe can be very happy nowā
After Lufthansa and the union, the responsible Ver.di tariff commission also agreed to the compromise. She recommended that Ver.di members accept the agreement. They can decide whether to accept or reject the results in a member survey that will run until mid-April.
āWe fought hard for this compromise and we can now be very satisfied,ā said Ver.di negotiator Marvin Reschinsky. āWe have achieved real real wage increases and will thus compensate for the decline of the last few years.ā In addition to the linear increase, the result provides for a number of improvements such as aligning the eastern collective agreements with western levels. Reschinsky called the result āhistoric.ā
