In 2023, Henkel was able to achieve higher prices for its products. Organic sales – i.e. excluding acquisitions and sales – also increased by 4.2 percent. However, the separation from the Russian business was noticeable in the real sales figures: in 2023, group sales were 21.5 billion euros, a nominal 3.9 percent below the previous year’s level. The adjusted operating result rose by 10.2 percent to 2.5 billion euros – the new Consumer Brands division was able to increase profits. The shareholders are to receive an unchanged dividend of 1.85 euros per preferred share.
