Copa Airlines continues its flights to Cuba in April 2024, connecting travelers to the international airports of Havana and Santa Clara. The flights facilitate the trip to the island for Cuban migrants residing in South America, in countries such as Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay.
According to information from ECASA on Telegram, Copa Airlines will have three weekly operations to the “Abel Santamaría” airport in Santa Clara on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, with origin and destination in Panama City. Additionally, there will be four flights to the “José Martí” airport in Havana on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Panama City, and three flights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from Panama City.
Copa Airlines has offices in Havana and Santa Clara where travelers can purchase tickets for flights to Cuba or Panama. In Havana, the office is located at the Miramar Business Center, ground floor, bldg. Barcelona, 5th Avenue – between 76 and 78, Playa. In Santa Clara, the office is located on Calle Colón #2, Corner Parque Vidal.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Copa Airlines flights to the Frank País International Airport in Holguín, Cuba remain suspended. The airline has not yet announced a date for resuming operations at this air terminal, which has been a constant claim on the Holguín Telegram channel.
