Costa Cruises will be gold sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at the next Dubai Expo. The agreement between the Italian company and the Commissioner for the participation of Italy a Expo 2020 Dubai (which, despite the name, will take place from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 202 2) was signed in Civitavecchia, aboard the flagship green Costa Smeralda, by Mario Zanetti, general manager of Costa Cruises, and by Commissioner Paolo Glisenti, in the presence of the United Arab Emirates ambassador to Italy, Omar Obaid Alshamsi.
The agreement is part of a phase of restart of Costa cruises, and more generally, of recovery of the tourism sector. The partnership, explains a note, will make it possible to tell our country and its wonders to an Italian and international audience, promoting the values ​​of sustainable development expressed by the Italian Pavilion at Expo Dubai.
