Workers from Sopas Calixto and a delivery man from Pedidos Ya were involved in a heated dispute tonight, as the delivery man became enraged over the packaging of two beef substances he purchased from the restaurant.
According to reports gathered by our collaborator Julio Sánchez, the Pedidos Ya delivery man arrived at the Sopas Calixto branch in the Ducualí neighborhood of Managua and immediately began to insult the female employees.
After hurling insults at the staff, the delivery man left on his motorcycle but quickly returned, claiming that the soups he had purchased were leaking. The owner of Sopas Calixto was present and the delivery man threatened him, but the owner assured him that he would investigate the situation.
Fortunately, after a tense confrontation, the situation was resolved and no further action was taken. However, the incident left diners in shock at the unexpected clash between the delivery man and the restaurant workers.
