Delivery Hero does not publish individual sales by country, but groups its markets into four regions. The delivery hero region of Asia generated around 3.7 billion euros in sales last year, slightly less than in 2022 (3.8 billion euros). According to information from WirtschaftsWoche, the Berliners generated around 550 million euros in sales with Foodpanda Taiwan. Delivery Hero did not comment. Delivery Hero only provides vague information on profitability in the form of adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (“adjusted Ebitda”). According to a trading update from mid-February, this value is positive for the first time for the 2023 financial year, at 253 million euros. In the previous year, Delivery Hero reported a negative adjusted Ebitda of almost 624 million euros. Östberg announced positive free cash flow for the current year.
