The project for the construction of the Danish section of the Baltic Pipe, which should connect Norway and Poland, has restarted. The plant will serve to reduce the Poles’ dependence on Russia for gas supplies.
The construction of the gas pipeline was stopped in 2019 for reasons of environmental protection, but the geopolitical crisis and concern for Europe’s supplies have unlocked the stalemate. Diversification is essential at this stage: the Baltic Pipe restarts.
