New acceleration of oil with Brent at over + 2% not far from the threshold of 80 dollars a barrel, on the highest levels since 2018. The WTI traded in New York also jumped (+ 2.1% to $ 75.5). Goldman Sachs raised its forecast for Brent crude to $ 90 at the end of this year due to the faster recovery in fuel demand since the Delta variant outbreak and the effects of Hurricane Ida on U.S. production which have led to scarce global supplies.
In Piazza Affari, oil stocks benefit from the oil rally. ENI in particular travels on the highs of the day at 11.2 euros (+ 2.4%). Tenaris also very well at + 3.3%.
