EUROPEAN: HUMAN INDEX (EMG/VIS FACTOR), FDI CONFIRMS TOP PARTY. UNITED STATES OF EUROPE ABOVE QUORUM
With 27.2% of voting intentions Fratelli d’Italia confirms itself as the first party and increases consensus compared to the 2022 elections. This is what emerges from Human indexthe super indicator that brings together EMG’s opinion research data and Vis Factor’s web and social listening data.
Following the Pd at 21.3% and the M5S which stands at 15.8%. Then Forza Italia and Lega both at 8.5%. The United States of Europe list is recorded at 5%, the Italian Left and the Greens at 3.7% and Action at 3.5%.
On the side of approval of the leaders in first place Giorgia Meloni with 40.2%, followed by Antonio Tajani at 33.4% and Giuseppe Conte at 32.1%. Off the podium were Matteo Salvini with 26.9%, Elly Schlein at 23.8% and Emma Bonino at 21.7%.
“Five weeks after the vote, the data is starting to consolidate. Fratelli d’Italia remains firmly the first party while the Democratic Party manages to stay above the 20% threshold, at a safe distance from the 5 Star Movement. There is a great challenge underway between Forza Italia and the League, both of which could surpass the 2022 result. As progress progresses, a polarization will emerge which will clarify who will exceed the 4% threshold, as in the case of the United States of Europe which until now remain firmly above the quorum”, says Fabrizio Masia, CEO of Emg.
“The leaders’ approval rating reflects the progress of political initiatives in recent days. Giorgia Meloni, with the strong and clear speech of the programmatic conference, confirms that she is the leader most in tune with the Italians, followed by Antonio Tajani, whose moderate and firm tones seem to be increasingly appreciated. Matteo Salvini and Elly Schlein do not yet have a clear identity in this electoral campaign and are struggling to enter the top three. Emma Bonino, the most popular leader among the small parties, also did well”, said Tiberio Brunetti, founder of Vis Factor.
The research was conducted by Emg and Vis Factor between April 25th and May 1st. As regards the Emg detection, the sample is 2,000 cases, while Vis Factor monitored 4121 channels including Facebook, Instagram, threads and X.
