So far in the reclamation only a few dozen units

The agreement with ArcelorMittal Italia in 2018 provided for this, with 2023 as the final date, but the subsequent ones (March and December 2020, respectively between ArcelorMittal and Ilva in as and between ArcelorMittal and Invitalia) no longer mention it. Furthermore, apart from the 1,600 of the extraordinary administration, in Taranto there are another 3,000 of the 8,200 direct ArcelorMittal on Covid layoffs and despite the favorable economic situation pushes the production of steel with a positive impact on prices, the Taranto plant runs with low production and with only two out of three blast furnaces and one out of two steelworks.
Giorgetti: steel will not have zero redundancies
