Fastweb has announced the appointment of Marco Arioli in the role of Technology Officer. Arioli, who will report directly to the CEO Alberto Calcagno, takes on responsibility for the integrated development of network infrastructures and operating processes in accordance with the objectives set by Nexxt Generation 2025, the plan with the which the company has undertaken, within the next five years, to provide all Italian families and businesses with Gigabit speed connections. Since joining Fastweb in 2003, Arioli has been involved in network planning, the development of new services and technological evolution, assuming increasing responsibilities including the leadership of network engineering.
Andrea Lasagna, on the other hand, will be responsible for the entire strategy linked to Cyber Security with the aim of making security an increasingly differentiating and valuable element, testifying to Fastweb’s constant attention to the protection of infrastructures, data and of the services provided to citizens, companies and public administrations.
