Fincantieri and the Cruise Division of the MSC Group and Fincantieri have announced the signing of a contract for the construction of a new mega
cruise terminal at the port of Miami, the cruise industry hub for North America and the Caribbean. The new terminal will involve an investment of approximately 350 million euros, and will consist of a multi-level central body that will simultaneously serve up to three latest generation ships and transit up to 36,000 travelers every day. The new terminal “will serve as a platform to support and sustain the expansion of our Cruise Division across the region and the Caribbean for years to come,” said Fincantieri. The project will be completed by December 2023.
