Twelve million to support companies in Liguria and in the South; the funds will come from a tender, issued by the Italian Institute of Technology (Iit), with Pnrr funds, which is aimed at micro, small, medium and large enterprises and aims to finance innovative projects in the sectors of applied robotics and artificial intelligence to smart cities, environment and territory, health and port areas.

The tender will allow companies to access grants for the realization of industrial research and experimental development projects with the aim of promoting technological acceleration processes and stimulating innovation. It was studied by a joint group, made up of Iit, Cnr and the University of Genoa.

Create an ecosystem

The primary objective of the tender is to stimulate the development of the innovation ecosystem in Liguria and create industrial and research and development chains with the South according to the provisions of the ministry of university and research, included in the tender for the creation and the strengthening of territorial innovation ecosystems.

The tender finances projects with grants of up to 500,000 euros in the case of a single enterprise or partnership of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, and up to 700,000 euros in the case of partnerships including a large enterprise. The contribution will be disbursed, with different percentages, based on the type of beneficiary, on a non-repayable basis. The project proposals will be collected until 20 September and the evaluation process will be conducted by a panel of selected experts.
