Indeed’s Best Jobs of 2024 list includes positions that offer salaries of more than $75,000 and flexible work opportunities.
Healthcare and mental health jobs, such as: B. mental health therapist and medical director, dominate.
Even as companies crack down on remote work, workers are still looking for well-paying, flexible positions.
Indeed recently launched its List of the best jobs 2024 published, which lists jobs like loan officers and mental health technicians at the top.
The jobs website compiled the list by including jobs with a minimum salary of $75,000, with at least 10 percent of job postings indicating remote or hybrid work. It also examined job posting growth from January 2021 to 2024 and ranked positions based on the number of postings per million total postings.
Flexible work options remain popular: One Bankrate Survey among 2,000 working adults in the United States Year 2023 found that 64 percent of respondents prefer full remote work to on-site work.

Because large companies are calling their employees back to the office, finding well-paid, flexible jobs is becoming increasingly difficult.
Career site Ladders published a report in Januarywhich found that the availability of hybrid jobs that pay $100,000 or more will decline by 69 percent by the end of 2023, while the availability of high-paying, in-person jobs will increase by 93 percent.
However, there are some industries that offer flexible jobs and good salaries, as Indeed’s list shows.

Healthcare jobs, including medical directors and psychiatrists, are among the highest paying on the list. Mental health jobs, such as mental health therapists and psychiatric and mental health nurses, dominate.
One of the top jobs was that of loan officer, with an average salary of nearly $200,000 — and 75 percent of job postings mentioned remote or hybrid work. A bachelor’s degree is not required for this job.
