Berlin (dts news agency) – According to political and communications consultant Johannes Hillje, Tiktok also plays an important role in the fight for the votes of young voters in the European elections. “Two thirds of 14 to 19 year olds use Tiktok and can therefore potentially be reached by parties there,” he told the “Rheinische Post” (Monday edition).
“But communicating on Tiktok does not automatically mean reaching young people, much less convincing them.” He said: “The themes and tone of the videos must appeal to young voters and generate interactions. Reach comes on Tiktok through relevance to young people.”
