Walmart Launches New Brand Line Bettergoods for Gourmet Foods at Affordable Prices
Walmart has just announced the launch of a new brand line called Bettergoods, designed to cater to sophisticated and demanding tastes with low-cost luxury products. The new line includes 300 items ranging from frozen foods, dairy products, snacks, drinks, pastas, soups, coffee, and chocolate.
According to Walmart, Bettergoods represents the retailer’s largest private label food launch in 20 years. It is also the fastest private food brand that Walmart has launched, showcasing the company’s ability to bring trends and innovation to market quickly.
One of the most appealing aspects of the Bettergoods brand is its affordability. Despite its gourmet image, many products are priced below $5.00 USD, with prices ranging between $2.00 USD and $15.00 USD.
The products under the Bettergoods brand are divided into three categories. The first category, “culinary experiences,” features innovative recipes, elevated ingredients, and food trend offerings such as specialty salts and seasonings. The second category, “plant-based,” includes plant-based foods and dairy-free oat milk frozen desserts. The third category, “made without,” offers products that cater to different dietary lifestyles, including gluten-free options and products made without artificial flavors, colors, or added sugars.
Some of the highlighted products under the Bettergoods brand include premium bronze-cut pasta from Italy, priced at $1.97 USD per package. While some Bettergoods items are already available on shelves, Walmart plans to introduce more products during the fall, making the brand’s offerings exclusively available at the retail giant.
Walmart stated that the launch of Bettergoods is another example of the company’s commitment to providing exceptional experiences to its customers. With a focus on delivering high-quality gourmet foods at affordable prices, the Bettergoods brand is set to appeal to a wide range of shoppers looking for a touch of luxury in their everyday meals.
