Nissan Unveils X-Trail Mountain Rescue Vehicle for Ski Slope Accidents
Following the recent buzz surrounding mountain accidents after the release of “The Snow Society,” Nissan has introduced a specialized vehicle designed to provide assistance in these situations. The Nissan X-Trail Mountain Rescue is equipped to handle any emergency that may arise during a ski trip.
The X-Trail Mountain Rescue is the latest creation from Nissan, specifically tailored to navigate snowy mountain terrain and respond to accidents with its enhanced traction capabilities. The vehicle features snow tracks in place of traditional wheels, providing secure traction even on slippery surfaces.
Externally, the X-Trail Mountain Rescue has been modified to include a custom luggage rack capable of accommodating an evacuation stretcher and other rescue tools such as snow shovels. The vehicle also boasts additional lighting, sirens, wider fenders, and tow hooks to enhance its capabilities.
Internally, the vehicle has been designed to accommodate a stretcher along with space for transporting injured skiers to medical facilities. The e-4ORCE electrified twin-engine all-wheel drive system ensures quick and adaptable responses to changes in adhesion levels, providing enhanced control and power distribution.
The X-Trail Mountain Rescue will initially be deployed at five European ski resorts with ample snowfall, with the intention of promoting safe skiing practices and minimizing accidents. This innovative vehicle represents Nissan’s commitment to enhancing safety and providing assistance in challenging environments.
