Iran seizes an oil tanker involved in a dispute with the US off the coast of Oman

L’Iran captured an oil tanker previously embroiled in a dispute between Washington and Tehran over the transportation of US-sanctioned crude oil, Iranian state media said.

Iran’s navy has seized the St. Nikolas vessel in the Gulf of Oman, the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency said, after handing over Iranian crude to US authorities following allegations of sanctions violations.
