ISO is free to download! Win11 22H2 version rollover: Eligible devices do not support upgrades

Microsoft recently confirmed that Build 22621 is the RTM version of the Windows 11 22H2 update. Microsoft subsequently released Build 22621 to Release Preview channel users, and while that build only lists a few known issues, it appears to bring back a Windows 11 security-related bug that has been fixed.

Neowin forum member nekrosoft13 reported that he has multiple PCs that are eligible for the upgrade, but when trying to upgrade this version, the device security page of Windows Security settings displays “Standard hardware security not supported” (the current device does not support the standard hardware security) error alerts.

Many users have also complained about such a bug in Build 22621 in the Feedback Hub. As mentioned above, this bug isn’t new, Microsoft has fixed it earlier with build 22000.100, as the company promised in a Feedback Hub thread.

In fact, when the user PC does not meet one or more of these requirements, the Standard Hardware Security Unsupported feature will be displayed. In the case of this error though, it will show unsupported even if the condition is met.
