Italpreziosi announced that Ivana Ciabatti, CEO of the Group, has been re-elected to the board of the Responsible Jewelery Council (RJC), as representative of the ‘Precious Metals Trader, Refiners and / or Hedgers Forum’ category.
Founded in 2005, RJC is the non-profit organization that promotes responsible practices from an ethical, social and environmental point of view, respecting human rights, from extraction to sale, tracing the entire production chain of jewelry, with the aim of protect the final consumer, promoting the application of regulations for the certification of corporate social responsibility. By bringing together over 1,400 members in 71 countries belonging to the entire supply chain, from mining to retail, RJC therefore promotes the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contained in the 2030 Agenda, by studying integrated solutions and innovative to the current and future challenges of the entire sector.
