The volunteers of the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association will be present at the solidarity points, distributing kit with a selection of two aromatic herb plants in exchange for a donation of 12 euros. It is essential to support research against multiple sclerosis

Despite the considerable progress made by research, multiple sclerosis remains one of the most serious diseases of the central nervous system. It strikes in half of the cases before the age of 40. Women are more interested, twice as much as men. In Italy alone there are 140,000 people living with multiple sclerosis, while new diagnoses are around 3,600 per year.

The causes are not yet known and there is no definitive cure. However, they exist therapies and treatments capable of slowing down its progression and improving the quality of life of patients. Among the pathologies related to MS, we find neuromyelitis optica (NMO), which has a framework of health and social care needs and interventions similar to MS.
