The proposal from the Italia Viva MP to change the rules on equal conditions in Rai supervision created a fuss. Journalists or commentators who support a thesis will have to be counterbalanced with other colleagues who have “alternative points of view“.
Or, even worse, – reports Il Fatto – in talk shows or Rai information programs before the European Championships they just won’t be able to participate the reporters who have “a clear political connotation“. The president of Agcom, Giacomo Lasorellaresponding to Maria Elena Boschi’s observations in the Supervisory Commission, specified: “In the regulation we tried to identify rules and criteria, but the assessment it can only be case by case. Not everything can be regimented into a framework of rules. The theme was present in all electoral campaigns and the Authority tried to resolve it in the best way.”
