A single-storey farmhouse, in disrepair but not abandoned, which directly overlooks the street Montecarottese, traveled daily by hundreds of cars. A green wooden door and on the left a broken window that opens onto an unsafe room with a half-collapsed attic.
It is here that yesterday afternoon at 2pm one of the two brothers who own the building, went to get some wood, found the remains which – according to the Ancona carabinieri – belong to Andreea Rabciucthe 27-year-old girl of Romanian origin but resident in Jesi for years with her mother, who disappeared on the night between 11 and 12 March two years ago.
“Give me certainty that it’s her, tell me how she was killed”, the desperate request to the investigators Georgeta Croceanuthe girl’s mother who arrived late in the evening at the site of the discovery which is less than a kilometer from the caravan from where Andreea had disappeared.

The testimony of the two owners of the farmhouse was confirmed: the building was in fact inspected by the police in search of the girl twice, the second time on March 16, 2022, complete with molecular dogs. It is impossible that they could not have noticed the body that was found yesterday on the steps of the half-destroyed staircase that leads from the room on the ground floor to the first floor. What is certain, from the state of the remains, is that Andreea’s death dates back a long time ago, probably shortly after her disappearance and it will not even be easy to trace the causes of death. The remains of a white jacket and black boots that correspond to the description of those worn by the girl at the time of her disappearance offer the certainty that it is her.
The only suspect, first for kidnapping and now also for murder, remains Andrea’s boyfriend, Simone Gresti, who has always professed himself innocent. Their relationship was conflictual and on the evening of the disappearance they had argued. The girl’s mother is convinced that he is responsible but no concrete elements have ever come to light regarding Simone Gresti so much so that the man is on the loose. The lawyer Emanuele Giuliani who rushed to the farmhouse informed him of the discovery of the remains yesterday evening: “I didn’t expect this epilogue”, he said. “Simone is in shock.”
