Kashkari (Fed): “Still a long way on inflation”

“The labor market is still ‘hot’ and we have not witnessed a great weakening of it. So, this suggests that there is still a long way to go before we bring inflation back down,” Minneapolis Fed Chairman Neel Kashkari said.

“We must not be fooled by a few months of positive data. We are still well above our 2% inflation target and need to finish the job,” added the banker.
