Murder in Udine: acid on the face of a murdered man, arrested and confessed
A 360-degree investigation is underway to clarify the dynamics and motive of the murder committed last night, around 9.30 pm, in the province of Udine. As the hours pass, new details emerge about the Bicinicco crime (Udine) where a woman – 42 year old Silvia Comelli – killed a man, 43 year old Stefano Iurigh.
First of all, the two are not husband and wife, as it had emerged at first, but they had met some time ago. The woman had gone to the man’s house and – according to the initial investigations coordinated by the deputy public prosecutor of Udine, Andrea Gondolo – she killed him also using a pair of scissors during an argument, hitting him on the head.
Then he allegedly threw muriatic acid in his face. Then she called the police and handed herself in, confessing to the murder, before remaining silent. Investigators are trying to understand what the relationship was that linked the woman to the victim. At the moment the reasons for the murder have not been clarified, although it is hypothesized that there was a romantic relationship between the two.
