Hangzhou, China – The Spring Festival has not stopped the nearly 200 key industrial enterprises in Hangzhou from continuing to work and produce during the holiday. Many companies, including the Wanma Polymer Materials Group Co., Ltd., have been operating at full capacity to meet the high demand for their products.
At the Lin’an base of Wanma Polymer, nearly 10 production lines have been working non-stop, producing an average of 320 tons of insulation materials every day. The company has also increased the production capacity at its other bases in Qingyuan and Chengdu to meet the high demand for its products.
Guo Bin, an employee at Wanma Polymer, stated that they have been shipping around 300 tons of goods every day and are working to fulfill over 50,000 tons of orders. The company has also arranged for some production capacity during the Spring Festival to meet the needs of their overseas customers.
Shuai Yong, deputy general manager of Wanma Polymer Manufacturing Center, expressed confidence in the company’s ability to meet the high demand and stated that the order volume is expected to increase by 8% to 15% year-on-year in the first quarter of this year.
Other companies in Hangzhou, such as Foster and Sanhua Auto Parts, have also resumed work and production in advance to seize the progress and opportunities in their respective industries. Foster’s Lin’an base has increased its production capacity for photovoltaic film to meet the growing demand in the photovoltaic industry, while Sanhua Auto Parts has not stopped production and is planning to fully resume work by the eighth day of the Lunar New Year.
For Sanhua Auto Parts, resuming work and production is also about ensuring the well-being of its employees. The company distributed New Year’s goods and organized a New Year’s Eve dinner for employees who stayed in Hangzhou during the holiday to ensure smooth production.
The efforts of these companies reflect the determination of Hangzhou enterprises to continue fighting for the economy during the Spring Festival and to meet the high demand for their products. As the first quarter begins, these companies are confident in their ability to seize the opportunities for growth and success in 2023.
