Netflix tweaks prices in Italy: from one to two euros more per month. However, the basic rate remains unchanged, offered to customers at 7.99 euros per month.
For the Los Gatos giant this is the third increase since it landed on the Italian market in 2015. The first increase is in 2017 and the second is dated June 2019. In both cases the base rate has not been revised upwards, since 7.99 euros per month (content visible on one screen at a time and without high definition). And so it will also happen on the occasion of this third upward retouching which, as verified by the Sole 24 Ore, will leave today.

In detail, you will therefore pay one euro more per month for the Standard plan (from 11.99 to 12.99 euros) and two more euros for the Premium plan (from 15.99 to 17.99 euros). The first allows simultaneous viewing on two screens and with Full HD resolution. The Premium plan, on the other hand, contemplates the possibility of using 4 screens at the same time for viewing in ultraHD and 4K.
Netflix therefore puts a hand to the pricing of its offers in Italy which will already change for new subscribers today, while existing subscribers will begin to receive a notification from 9 October via e-mail and also within the app, 30 days before the price increase.
