Norwegian Cruise reopens North American routes

The gradual reopening of cruise ship routes continues. Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) announces the rescheduling of additional itineraries departing from New York, Los Angeles, Port Canaveral (Florida) and Miami. It also confirms that its most innovative ship, Norwegian Encore, will replace Norwegian Bliss in Alaska this summer.

As part of the relaunch plan, the airline announced its return to Miami, the cruise capital of the world, with Norwegian Gem offering seven-day Caribbean itineraries starting August 15, 2021 and a four-day Bahamas cruise to November.

The Company has also opened for sale additional itineraries for:

Bermuda starting September 26, 2021 from New York on Norwegian Breakaway;

to the Mexican Riviera on October 24, 2021 from Los Angeles aboard Norwegian Bliss;

for the Caribbean on November 13, 2021 from Port Canaveral, Florida on Norwegian Escape.

Additionally, Norwegian Encore, the newest ship in the fleet, will make its West Coast debut, replacing the previously announced Norwegian Bliss in Seattle for summer 2021, calling in Alaska at Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Icy Strait ports. Point, offering guests majestic views of Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier or Glacier Bay. Guests and travel partners with interested bookings will be contacted directly. All travel to the United States is subject to obtaining clearance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Peace of Mind, the company’s cancellation policy, remains in effect for guests who have chosen cruises with boarding dates until October 31, 2021. The flexibility to cancel their booking 15 days prior to departure is guaranteed. Those who take advantage of the Peace of Mind policy will receive a full refund in the form of a future credit that can be applied to any cruise until December 31, 2022.
