ROME – Unions towards mobilization. The meeting at Palazzo Chigi on the Budget Law ends without even getting close to a point of understanding, neither on pensions nor on social safety nets nor on cutting the tax wedge. Prime Minister Mario Draghi leaves the table an hour and a half from the start, due to “an indelible institutional commitment”, and the Minister of Public Administration Renato Brunetta will chair the meeting, flanked by the Minister of Labor Andrea Orlando and from that of Finance Daniele Franco.
