Today the European Commission ordered the payment of the pre-financing of 24.9 billion euros in favor of Italy, closing the phase of definition and evaluation of the Plan started a few months ago. The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) was approved by the European Commission on 22 June and today the first resources arrive, corresponding to an initial tranche of 24.9 billion euros. Italy is one of the first countries to receive this pre-financing and is the one that benefits most from the funds of the Next Generation Eu program.
With the full availability of these resources, it will be possible to implement the important investments envisaged by the Plan, which concern multiple sectors of the economy and are aimed at making our country stronger and more competitive.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance underlines through a note that in order to better address this challenge “it will adopt all the necessary measures, as far as it is concerned, to ensure the achievement of the objectives and results of the PNRR within the foreseen timeframe”.

All institutions must cooperate for the profitable use of the Plan’s resources, for the benefit of future generations.
