Prysmian closed the first 9 months of 2021 with group revenues of 9,294 million euros, recording an organic change of + 11.4% compared to the same period of 2020, excluding the Projects 2 segment, showing a strong recovery in all Businesses and in almost all geographies. The solidity of the revenue growth trend is such as to exceed even the pre-pandemic levels, with an organic change of + 1.5% compared to the first nine months of 2019. This trend is further confirmed by the acceleration recorded in the third quarter of 2021 , when the organic change in revenues amounted to + 13.2% over the corresponding period of 2020.
Adjusted Ebitda recorded growth of 12.1% to 725 million. The revenue ratio was 7.8%, equivalent to 9% considering the price of metals at the same levels as in 2020, up from 8.6% the previous year. In particular, the Adjusted Ebitda of the Energy segment exceeded the pre-pandemic levels, confirming its fundamental contribution to the stability and growth capacity of the group.
The net profit attributable to the shareholders of the Parent Company jumped by + 82.1% to 255 million compared to 140 million in the corresponding period of 2020. In the last twelve months the group generated a Free Cash Flow of 282 million (excluding 80 million of disbursements relating to the Antitrust dispute and 81 million relating to acquisitions).
In light of the above considerations, the group confirms the 2021 guidance: for the full year, the expected Adjusted Ebitda is in the range of 920-970 million, a significant improvement compared to the 840 million recorded in 2020. Furthermore, the Group expects to generate cash flows of approximately 300 million ± 20% for the year 2021 (FCF before acquisitions and disposals).
