PARIS (FRANCE) (ITALPRESS) – Luca de Meo, CEO of the Renault Group, Eric Vidal, Secretary of the Mondo Group Committee, and Valter Sanches, General Secretary of IndustriAll, have signed an addendum to the global framework agreement “Building the world together of work within the Renault Group “, relating to the organization between smart working and face-to-face work. This new hybrid organization of work by the Renault Group, which aims to make the most of in-person and smart working activities, works on a voluntary basis and focuses on the following principles: More flexibility in personal organization of work: organization of the week between smart working and face-to-face work with at least two smart working days per week and maintenance of at least 20% of the monthly working time in presence. Accountability and autonomy: based on individual objectives, free organization of work between individuals, collaborators and face-to-face meetings with the team. Respect for the balance between private and professional life: respect for the company’s working hours, but also for periods of rest and holidays (right to disconnect). This addendum extends the global framework agreement signed in 2019 and makes it possible to accompany the transformation of the Renault Group, above all by reviewing its way of working. It also responds to the expectations expressed by collaborators, which have been accentuated with the health crisis, on the possibility of making a mix between working in the presence and smart working to improve the balance between private and professional life. “Setting the rules of the game for the new hybrid organization of work is fundamental. This is the meaning of the agreement we sign today. Going in search of the right balance between physical presence and smart working, but also exploiting all the advantages that technology can offer us, we will gain effectiveness and improve the quality of life of our employees all over the world. This truly unique agreement is highly modern. This is also Renaulution “, declared Luca De Meo , CEO of the Renault Group. “As an extension of the global framework agreement of 9 July 2019, the addendum signed today responds to the expectations of all Renault Group employees regarding smart working: it lays the foundations for structuring a new daily working method that combines corporate performance and work-life balance for individual Renault Group employees around the world, “said Eric Vidal, Secretary of the Group World Committee of the Renault Group. “The pandemic has forced a large number of employees to work in smart working and it is of fundamental importance to ensure that workers’ rights are well protected. This agreement with the Renault Group is an important first step as it establishes high global standards and provides the framework for national / local negotiations on this issue. We will reach out to other companies on this issue, in the hope that they will follow this good example, “explained Valter Sanchez, General Secretary of IndustriAll Global Union. The signing of this addendum now opens the way for local implementations to apply the agreement in all countries in order to propose locally the best balance between efficiency and well-being at work. France, as early as April 13, began negotiations with the social partners to define the conditions for this new hybrid organization of work for French workers. The other countries of the Group will also define, in the coming months, the local conditions for applying the addendum to their respective territories. (ITALPRESS). sat / com 05-May-21 23:07
