Single check, just a few more days to not lose the arrears

A few more days to not lose the arrears of the single and universal check. Those who have not yet submitted an application for this type of measure to support families have until Thursday 30 June to also obtain the recognition and payment of the arrears. The arrears are due from last March. The single allowance ranges from a maximum of 175 euros per month per child to a minimum of 50 euros per month per child. It will replace, starting from March 2022, other measures in support of the family that will be “canceled” such as tax deductions for children up to 21 years of age.

The single and universal allowance is an economic support to families awarded for each dependent child up to the age of 21 (subject to certain conditions) and without age limits for disabled children. The amount due varies according to the economic condition of the family unit on the basis of the Isee valid at the time of the application, taking into account the age and number of children as well as any situations of disability of the children.

The allowance is defined as single, since it is aimed at simplifying and simultaneously strengthening interventions aimed at supporting parenthood and birth, and universal as it is guaranteed to a minimum extent to all families with dependent children, even in the absence of Isee. o with Isee above the threshold of 40 thousand euros. For those who do not present the ISEE, the payment of the minimum allowance of 50 euros per month per child is expected.

Applying is simple. In fact, it is possible to make the request directly on the INPS website. Another way is to contact the Caf. As regards the calculation of the ISEE, INPS makes available on its website the possibility of carrying out the entire procedure independently to arrive at the indicator.
