by admin

Skoda has unveiled the new Kodiaq in a restyled version. Also available in a version with up to seven seats, Kodiaq is presented about four years after its launch in an updated version. The Bohemian car manufacturer has further developed and optimized the design of the SUV for aerodynamics with a new front and particularly spacious interior and with renewed technical and aesthetic details. For the first time, the innovative Matrix full Led headlights are proposed for Kodiaq. In addition, new alloy wheels up to 20 ”underline its dynamic look. Special aerodynamic rims, redesigned front and rear bumpers, a new glossy black rear spoiler and side flaps next to the rear window reduce the drag of the SUV. With the restyling, Kodiaq will be available from July in the Ambition, Executive and Style, LK, SportLine and Rs versions. The top-of-the-range sports model Kodiaq Rs, in addition to a further specific aesthetic treatment, will be equipped with a new 2.0 liter Tsi petrol engine (245 horsepower) from the Evo generation of the Volkswagen group. The other two petrol engines also belong to the Group’s new Evo generation, the 1.5 Tsi with 150 horsepower and the 2.0 Tsi with 190 horsepower, as well as the 2.0 Tdi with 150 horsepower and 200 hp. The virtual cockpit with 10.25 ”display and four different basic displays is part of the standard equipment of the Kodiaq Rs and is optional on the other versions. For Rs and SportLine you can choose a specific sport view. The range of assistance systems now also includes the extended proactive occupant protection system, which, thanks to additional radar sensors at the rear, also reacts in the event of a rear-end collision from following vehicles. For Skoda Kodiaq it is a successful model all over the world. In March 2021, the company produced and delivered more than 600,000 units of the large SUV. To meet the high demand, Kodiaq is produced in the Bohemian Skoda plant in Kvasiny, as well as in China, India and Russia. Kodiaq is delivered to around 60 markets around the world.
