Gympass, a corporate wellbeing platform, has announced the closure of a round of funding worth $ 220 million from Softbank, General Atlantic, Moore Strategic Ventures, Kaszek and Valor, who will support the brand in its mission to make wellbeing a universal good.

In detail, Gympass has seen its value more than double to $ 2.2 billion and has acquired more than 1,000 new customers during the pandemic, also because companies are increasingly looking for corporate wellbeing programs that include holistic disciplines, which are flexible and fair and suitable for the new hybrid way of working. Current customers include Santander, Accenture, Unilever, KPMG, McDonalds. In addition, Gympass has signed new agreements with major partners in the United States, including Barry’s, SoulCycle, F45bbe Strava for fitness, and Calm, LifeSum, and Fabulous that increase the Gympass offering in the holistic wellness field.

“We had already seen an increase in visits to the gym and studios when countries started to reduce restrictions and we expect a further increase when people return to the office” – said Cesar Carvalho, Co-founder and CEO of Gympass. “We have created a unique wellness platform on the market that includes fitness, therapy services, mindfulness and nutrition. The new round of financing will help us grow globally, improve the customer experience and increase the offer with new activities, continuing to pursue the goal of making well-being a universal good “.
