Stellantis NV today introduced STLA Large, its all-new highly flexible BEV platform, which forms the basis for a wide range of upcoming vehicles in the D and E segments for global markets.
The platform is equipped with segment-leading features, such as the amount of energy available on board, charging efficiency, high-performance and off-road (Trail Rated) driving dynamics.
STLA Large-based full-size vehicles are focused on customer demand in key global markets and will be adopted initially in the North American market by the Dodge and Jeep brands, followed by other brands, including Alfa Romeo, Chrysler and Maserati. Eight models will be launched in the 2024-2026 period.
STLA Large is one of four global BEV platforms, featured in EV Day 2021, that underpin the Company’s future products and are critical to achieving the ambitious goals of the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan.
This is the second platform to be revealed after the best-in-class STLA Medium, unveiled in July 2023. STLA Large will be produced in several factories in Europe and North America and multi-energy variants will be available, including hybrid and internal combustion.
Stellantis’ iconic brands will customize STLA Large vehicles to best meet the needs and desires of their customers, ranging from family vehicles to high-performance vehicles, from 4×4 off-road vehicles to the luxury segment.
