Stellantis, the new Stla and Mla platforms for electric and electrified cars

Modular platforms. This is the key word for car manufacturers, as confirmed by the many innovations by Stellantis. The group headed by Carlos Tavares is in fact ready to present new modular platforms dedicated to thermal, electrified and electric vehicles. The most awaited novelty is represented by the architecture baptized Stellantis (and indicated by the abbreviation STLA) ready to give life to the future range of the 14 brands belonging to the group.

STLA Stellantis platform

The new Stellantis platform will be available in Small, Medium, Large and Frame versions to offer an electric solution from compact to maxi pick-up. It will start from the Small (expected in 2026 and ready to replace the eCmp) for segments A and B with autonomy up to 500 km. Medium and Large will arrive in 2023 for the CD segments with over 600 km available and over 800 km for the larger models such as sedans over 4.70 meters and SUVs.

Stellantis MLA platform

While waiting to discover the new STLA, Stellantis has unveiled the unprecedented MLA (Modular Architecture) platform designed to give life to new models on the Brazilian and South American market. Entirely developed by the South America team, the MLA architecture will make its debut on the future SUV known with the project code 363.
