ROME – The intention is there, even if the Treasury’s stop has already been taken into account. Tactics and torments that animate Brothers of Italy struggling with the attempt to give a signal on the Superbonus.
In the end the FdI deputies who sit on the benches try anyway Finance commission of the House, where it is under scrutiny the mini decree approved by the Council of Ministers last December 28th. The lever is represented by a series of amendments that convey the changes.

In the file which contains about one hundred, three identical ones stand out, also signed by the Pd and the Misto group. The bipartisan proposal asks an extension of 110% of at least two months for those who “as of 31 December 2023” have carried out “work for at least 70% of the overall intervention”. A lifesaver for condominiums who started work in 2022 and who last year were able to benefit from the full relief.
An even more generous extension is contained in another FdI amendment: full relief for the works carried out until June 30 this yearwith a Sal (Work progress report) at 70%, again as of 31 December 2023.

But the signals coming from the Mef are clear: extensions are not permitted. Three other bipartisan amendments ask instead to raise, from 15 to 25 thousand euros, the “family quota” ceiling to benefit from the contribution to be applied to expenses incurred between January 1st and October 31st of this year.
The question is always the same: you need money. A discussion between the government and parliamentarians on the commission is expected on Tuesday. But the outcome seems already written.
