Giorgetti opens to the superbonus diluted over 10 years

“If it were up to me, yes. But Parliament decides”, the words of the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti, which was said to be favorable to spread Superbonus deductions for 10 years. This is the hypothesis, anticipated in the Sole 24 Ore, of spreading the use of the tax credits arising from the 2023 Superbonus expenses over 10 years instead of 4 as the current rules provide.

According to Il Sole 24 Ore, “The idea of once again extending the bonus use calendar has been studied by the General Accounting Office with a clear objective: to lighten the public finances a little in the most complicated years, i.e. this and the next two, and postpone part of the load to the period from 2027 onwards, when the trends predict a more decisive decline in the debt ratio and GDP. It is also a way to open up some fiscal space immediately, and make a load more manageable that last year destroyed every spending record despite the attempt to stop everything since February 2023″.

The lengthening of times avoids the increase in the deficit on the GDP 2024, tincreasing the bill by 12.7 billion per year. And as the economic newspaper explains, “the move could also impact the choices of taxpayers, at the crossroads between the use of the tax credit and the more traditional route of the old deduction”.
