The market trend and the strength of the franc led to red in the first quarter 2022 accounts of the Swiss National Bank (SNB). The Swiss central bank recorded a quarterly loss of 32.8 billion francs (32.1 billion euros), which contrasts with the profit of 37.7 billion francs made in the same period of 2021.
