53 signed projects totaling 108 billion yuan were achieved at the recently concluded 2023 World Internet of Things Expo in Wuxi. The four-day event brought together over 5,000 guests, including academicians, experts, scholars, and corporate executives, to discuss the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) in various fields such as the Internet of Vehicles, Industrial Internet, intelligent computing power, and artificial intelligence.
Under the theme of “Integrated Empowerment of the Intelligent World,” the event focused on building a world-class IoT industrial cluster and empowering the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. It featured a summit, exhibition, cutting-edge dialogues, IoT Expo releases, ecological win-win, and intelligent experience activities. These activities aimed to promote industry innovation, showcase leading results, and provide a glimpse into the future of IoT.
The expo also emphasized international cooperation and showcased its openness to global collaboration. It attracted 147 overseas guests from embassies, consulates, business associations, multinational enterprises, and international organizations. Furthermore, 54 overseas exhibitors from 16 countries and regions participated in the offline exhibition. The event fostered cooperation by signing memorandums of understanding and establishing innovation centers, such as the “China-Europe (Wuxi) Internet of Things Cooperation Innovation Center” and the “City University of Hong Kong Wuxi Industrial Technology Innovation Center.”

Strategic cooperation agreements were signed with the National Manufacturing Transformation and Upgrading Fund, Pacific Property Insurance Company, iSoftStone Group, and other institutions. The expo witnessed over 2,000 project registrations, attracting more than 120 investment and financing institutions. The World Internet of Things Products and Applications Exhibition showcased cutting-edge technologies, including the L4 driverless minibus by Checheng Zhilian Company, which won the “Red Dot Award” and the World Industrial Design Award. It also highlighted national-level industrial Internet platforms, industrial robot companies, and other innovative products that empower the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.
The event drew a large number of exhibitors and visitors, with 522 exhibitors and 97,000 visitors attending the exhibition. The exhibition covered various areas, including new infrastructure and industry integration, smart sensors, IoT smart manufacturing, Internet of Vehicles, and digital life. More than 100 new products, technologies, and business formats were on display, with 47 of them being released for the first time. The exhibition received over 3,000 visitors in four days, indicating a high level of interest and potential for cooperation.
The expo also showcased the insights and wisdom of industry experts during its 1 summit and 23 forums. Distinguished guests, including academicians and industry professionals, shared their perspectives on cutting-edge topics such as computing power centers, zero-carbon IoT operating systems, AI integration, wireless networks, and satellite Internet. The event also witnessed the release of significant research reports, including the “2022-2023 China Internet of Things Development Annual Report” and the “Internet of Things Industry Development Research Report.”
